The ParentBank partnership is announcing the launching of the online training program for practitioners who support low skilled/low qualified single parents that will aim at extending and enhancing the professionals’ competences in the teaching of numeracy, entrepreneurial and digital skills (including through the use of digital technologies), so that they are able to provide tailored training and support to single parents in developing these skills and key competences, in order to foster their employability and socio-educational and personal development (which also enhance their social inclusion).
The training course, with 12-hours duration, will be organized using also the e-learning platform on which the training modules were uploaded.
The 6 modules of the course are focused on the Project-Based Learning that is the methodology used within the project, and also on communication competences, mathematical competences, entrepreneurial competences, digital competences, learning to learn skills, social and civic skills.
The piloting of this training program will be organized in each partner country starting with October 2020.

PARENTBANK – ‘Enhancing the social inclusion of low income single parents’ is an Erasmus + Strategic Partnerships in Adult Education project, financed by the European Commission through A.N.P.C.D.E.F.P. It has a duration of 2 years (2019-2021) – Project Number: 2019-1-RO01-KA204-063798.
This new European initiative aims at facilitating the labor market integration of low-income single-parents, by promoting their access to childcare and other services that they may be unable to afford.
